How to Enroll
Start with a Tour
We encourage all interested families to come and experience the warmth and joy of learning that occurs each day at Sunny Hill. We will tour the facilities, visit the classrooms, and see children and teachers interacting with one another as they would on a typical day at Sunny Hill. Each tour is set up, individualized, and spent with the Director or Assistant Director. The amount of time we spend together is up to you: bring your questions and your curiosity, and we will share the Sunny Hill experience with you in an unpressured atmosphere. Children are welcome to accompany you on tour!
Sunny Hill is not only interested in the education of your child, but also looks to support you as you guide your children through the early years of life. We’d like to invite all of your family to become part of the Sunny Hill Community. For details, contact us.
Timeline
Early November - Early Enrollment Begins
Registration begins for families of children who are presently enrolled in Sunny Hill, families of alumni and families who are members of the Sudbury United Methodist Church. Online enrollment must be completed by the specified date to ensure your child’s preferential placement in our program. Applications are generally considered on a first-come, first-served basis.
Early December - Start of Rolling Enrollment
Rolling enrollment begins and continues for families outside our Sunny Hill Community who are interested in our preschool. We will schedule times for these families to tour our school and submit an application for enrollment. Tours for new families begin in late October.
Late December - Notification of Program Placements
Families will be notified by winter break of their child’s program placement for the school year. Families who do not receive their first choice will be wait listed and placed in their next available choice. Programs are filled from the wait list on a rolling basis as spaces become available.
January of each year - Enrollment Confirmations Due
Enrollment confirmation forms and tuition deposits are due.
February 28th - End of Tuition Refunds
Tuition refunds will be given to parents who give written notice they are withdrawing their child on or before February 28th. Refunds of tuition deposits for children who are withdrawn after February 28th will be determined on a case by case basis by the Sunny Hill Committee.
Online Registration
Families who are presently enrolled in Sunny Hill, families of alumni, and families who are members of Sudbury United Methodist Church can begin online registration in early November for the next school year. For instructions, please contact us.
